This particular ROC is in honor of Coach Jeff Wolfe. This event is proudly held in his memory. Jeff Wolfe, a longtime coach at Brentwood High School, fenced at New York University. After graduating he became a teacher at Brentwood High School where he began both a Boys' Team and a Girls' Team. The Girls' Team was the first girls' varsity program on Long Island. During his tenure (1971- 1998) the Girls' Team had 18 undefeated seasons, 19 League Championships and 18 Sectional Championships. The team set a N. Y. State record winning 98 consecutive dual meets. Jeff Wolfe's W-L record at Brentwood was 388-14. Eight of his fencers became collegiate All- Americans. Four represented the United States in International competition. In 1987, he was the first recipient of the NFCAA Regional Coach Of the Year Award. In 1988 he was named to coach the US Cadet Team at the Continental Cadet Championships and the World Cadet Championships. Coach Wolfe was a highly respected member of the fencing community, and is greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Venue opens 6:45 AM each day. We recommend to arrive at least 1 hour before close of check-in. Armory is to the right at the bottom of the stairs.
Please have your Lame's zipped up and Body Cords loose and organized. Once checked equipment is valid for all events of the tournament.
Proof of current USA Fencing membership, current FIE license, or foreign federation membership must be presented.
Beat the lines, we have instituted auto check-in like National Events. Take your USA Fencing membership card with the bar code and scan it. This feature is on the table at the end of the Hallway in front of the Training Room.
Fencers must check-in each day of the competition.
Fencers are only permitted to fence in one event per day. Exceptions to this rule are at the discretion of the Bout Committee and Tournament Organizers.
Medals are engraved with names. This is done quite quickly usually within minutes of end of final bout. We ask that you remain for the quick ceremony to show respect to the tournament and your fellow competitors.
There are shelves for bags in the hallway, bag storage under the gallery in the hallway, and bag racks throughout the venue. Bag must be put in the racks zipped up vertically. Any bags on the floor will be removed.
The venue has a full café with ample, reasonably priced food, drinks, and fresh fruit.
Delicious CAPPUCCINO's and ESPRESSO's are available.
Sponsor McDonalds can be located on 25A on the way to the Venue. Located in the shopping plaza is a Subway restaurant, Italian/Pizza restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and a Bagel Store/Deli. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate surrounding area as well.
Regular fees: end April 1st PDT. Registration $35, Administration $5, and Event fee is $45/event
Late Fees: end April 13 PDT. Registration $105, Administration $15, and Event fee is $135/event.
Walk In's: will not be accepted.
Registration fees will not be refunded. There are no exceptions. Prior to April 1st, 100% of the event fee will be refunded if the bout committee is contacted with a refund request. After April 1st, there will be no refunds of the event fee. Please make your registrations early to avoid complications. All refund requests will be responded to within 2 weeks after the conclusion of the tournament
NO REFUND will be issued to No Show or Withdraw from events
There will be NO reminder emails sent to competitors that are registered without completed payments. It is your responsibility to be aware of the registration deadlines.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If the tournament is cancelled for catastrophic reasons beyond our control (such as extreme weather), event fees will be refunded you OR you may roll the fees over to another Mission Regional Tournament.

25 minutes from Islip MacArthur Airport 15 minutes from Port Jefferson Ferry 15 minutes from the Port Jefferson Train Station. 1 hour 15 minutes driving from JFK and LGA Airports, you can take LIRR train from JFK to Port Jefferson Train Station from Jamaica Station. Airtrain takes you there from terminals.
Mission Fencing Center is located at 346 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY 11778. They can be contacted at 631-821-1131 for directions or assistance.
Mission is in the same shopping center as Kohl's, Michael's, and PETCO. It is across the street from Planet Fitness. If in-putting the address into a GPS, you can search for the Rocky Point Post Office which is also located in our shopping center.
Ample parking can be found around the back of the shopping center, near the main entrance to Mission.
