Earning Points Fencers only earn points at RYCs/RJCCs within their home region (6). The best 3/RYC or 2/RJCC results count towards the point total. RYC/RJCC points are not used in any National Point Standings, for seeding or team selection purposes.
COVID-19 Guidelines, Requirements, and Protocols (Subject to Change) Protocols will be implemented during the entire tournament; no exceptions. DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO COMPLY. If the tournament is cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns or by the order of USA Fencing, a full refund will be issued to all fencers, except for admin fees. * This tournament is subject to federal mandates, state laws and local orders regarding COVID-19, including the assembly of persons. * USA Fencing standards for COVID-19 Prevention will be followed. Masks are now optional at USA Fencing-sanctioned tournaments at the regional level. Tournament attendees are welcome to continue wearing a mask if they wish to do so. \Additional protocols will be created to help us run a smooth and safe tournament. Additionally, USA Fencing Regional events follow the codes of conduct set by USA Fencing. Please carefully read the codes of conduct for spectators, coaches and members as you will be expected to abide by these codes of conduct.

Equipment Check Early equipment check is available on Friday, February 10th from 5pm - 7pm. We highly recommend you take advantage of this to avoid lines before the start of your event. Competition days equipment check starts at 7am EST.

Withdrawal/Refund Deadline:
All refund requests must be received in writing by 11:59:59pm PST on Friday, January 20, 2023. Please email cylucente@verizon.net for your refund request. Registration and administrative fees will not be refunded, but event entry fees will be. Please include the fencer's name, membership number, and all events which they are withdrawing from.
Beginning January 21, there will be no refunds for any reason. Refunds will be processed after the refund request is received by USA Fencing. Fencers who do not show up to an event or withdraw from an event are not entitled to a refund.
Important Reminders:
We will NOT accept entries at the door. All registrations must be completed via USA Fencing platform.

All tournament officials are required to park in the public parking facility connected to the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Special rates have been negotiated with the Tourney Organizers and all parking receipts will be reimbursed at these negotiated rates.

The Greater Richmond Convention Center is located in Downtown Richmond, Virginia.
Richmond International Airport (RIC) is a 10-mile drive, and there are three other international airports that are roughly a two-hour drive from the venue (ORF, DCA, IAD).
The AMTRAK Richmond train station is 1.4 miles from the venue.
