Referee Wheelchair Exam
<p>Thank you for taking an interest in becoming a USA Fencing wheelchair referee.</p> <p>The exam is available to those interested in becoming a USA Fencing wheelchair referee as well as athletes, parents and other members of the fencing community. A USA Fencing profile is required to purchase the exam. After the exam is purchased, you will receive an email with your complete log-in information.</p> <p>A passing score is 90 percent or better. The exam has 30 multiple choice questions and a 60 minute time limit.</p> <p>You can take the exam as many times as you need during the registration period, which lasts 48 hours.</p> <p>More detailed instructions are provided with the exam online.</p> <p>You can download the <a href="https://www.usafencing.org/usa-fencing-rule-book" target="_blank">USA Fencing Rulebook </a>to assist you in preparing for the exam.</p> <p>If you have questions about the exam process or have technical issues, please email Sam Callan USA Fencing Senior Manager of Coaching and Referee Education, at <a href="mailto:refexam@usafencing.org">refexam@usafencing.org</a>. Since the question order is randomized, giving the question number will not help.</p> <p>What Next?</p> <p>If you are 18 years of age or older, to referee at a USA Fencing sanctioned event you will need to be a USA Fencing +CheckEd member and complete the criminal background check and SafeSport training.</p> <p>Referees under the age of 18 do not need to complete the criminal background check or SafeSport training. Please note that if you are within three months of your 18th birthday, you can contact the USA Fencing SafeSport coordinator at <a href="mailto:safesport@usafencing.org" target="_blank">safesport@usafencing.org</a> to receive access to the training. <p> </p> <p>Thank you for taking an interest in becoming a USA Fencing referee.</p> <p>The exams are available to those interested in becoming a USA Fencing referee as well as athletes, parents and other members of the fencing community. A USA Fencing profile is required to purchase either exam. After the exam is purchased, you will receive an email with your complete log-in information.</p> <p>The Referee Exam includes access to five tests: the General Rules Exam, the exams specific to each weapon and a completion test.</p> <p>The Referee Wheelchair Exam is separate and costs $25.</p> <p>To pass the Referee Exam, you must pass the General Rules Exam and <strong>at least</strong> one weapon-specific exam. We encourage you to take all of the weapon exams to avoid having to pay the fee again to take additional tests later. The last part is the Completion Exam. Take this once you have taken and passed all the exams you wish to take. Once you complete this exam, you will no longer have access to the exams. You will have access to your exam scores.</p> <p>A passing score is 90 percent or better.
